WHAT WE BELIEVE

GOD

We believe in one God who exists in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

HOLY SPIRIT

We believe that God the Holy Spirit is actively living within believers as their comforter and guide and actively convincing unbelievers of their sinfulness and need for salvation.

SALVATION

We believe that each person must acknowledge the need for God, repent from sin, believe that Christ is Savior, and publicly confess Jesus as Lord. When true salvation occurs, it can never be taken away or lost.

LORD'S SUPPER

We believe that the Lord's Supper is a symbolic remembrance of Christ's sacrifice. The bread and cup represent the body and blood of Christ. Those who have accepted Christ as Savior and Lord participate in the Lord's Supper during periodic observances.

PRAYER

We believe that each believer has direct access to God through the Lord Jesus Christ.

JESUS

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, was born of a virgin, fully God and fully man, lived a sinless life, died in our place as a sacrifice for the sins of mankind, was buried, arose bodily from the grave, ascended into Heaven, will return one day and, in the meantime, lives in the lives of all Christians.

BIBLE

We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is God’s revelation of Himself to man. It has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth, without any mixture of error, for its matter.

CHURCH

We believe that the church is a body of baptized believers with the Lord Jesus Christ as the Head. Responsibilities of the church include worship, prayer, stewardship, evangelism, discipleship, missions, and service.

BAPTISM

We believe that water baptism is an act of obedience to the command of Christ and is by bodily immersion after salvation.
